09/04/2009: "Taking a Break"

So, I finally get to take a break from driving. I'm about to hitch a ferry up to AK, and then continue my driving from there. So, I'm going to be off the net for a few days.

I haven't touched anyone's comments, I swear! :)

I know how bad my back hurt from sitting in the truck for a week, I'm not sure how either of you would have managed it, especially with one of you getting smushed into the back seat.

Other'n that, it wouldn't have been bad to have someone to tag off on driving, especially through the nice flat parts of the country, that I wouldn't have had to blindfold you through. :)

I had commented before but my comment is missing. I think that Amanda may put a secret code into her blog to keep me from making any comments. Anyhow, I thought you had a real good idea. We could have also played the game of counting cars from different states. Amanda would have love it. We always come up with these ideas way too late.

hey Dawne, Amanda said to talk amongst ourselves,so, I had this great idea (unfortunately it's too late). You and I could have driven out to Washington with Amanda and then we could have flown home. I still have my money from mom and dad to pay for the trip.
Amanda would have loved it. To have her mom and her gray haired old auntie along, wow what a blast! Ever since I had the thought, I've been singing "99 bottles of beer on the wall". We could have sung that all the way to Washington state! It's just too bad I'm not a quick thinker. teehee
