Phew!

Last night I had to give a presentation for my statistics class, and I am now officially done with it! Yay!!!!

It'll probably take two weeks for me to find out my final grade, but at least I'm done, and can goof off in my spare time again. :)

Yesterday I finished reading a book I've been working on for a while, and got started in the final book of the Sword of Truth series (basis for the syndicated TV show Legend of the Seeker - as always, books are way better). This goofy series is 11 books long, and I've been working on it since before I left New York. It will be sooo nice to have it done.

Over the last week, since I didn't have much homework, I also got some more bottles done. These are pasta sauce jars, actually:

I also crocheted a bag, that works great for small grocery trips - it stretches out, can hold a bunch of weight without tearing even better than the bags they try to sell you, and can be easily slung over a shoulder:

Lighting sucks, but the yarn is some stuff Mom had laying around and pawned off on me when I was home one of these last times. :)

Speaking of which:

Unless something goes all crazy, I should be able to get home about Aug 17 for 3 weeks. Woo hoo!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!

I just spent the last week in a prep class for the Security+ Exam - its about computer network security, and is a requirement for my job. Technically, I should have taken it a long time ago, but the Army has been doing a bad job of enforcing this particular requirement until fairly recently, and my current unit enforces it much more than my last unit.

So, even though Friday was a holiday I had to go in to class, and then had to go in Saturday to take the actual test. Out of pity I get Monday off. :)

The prep class definitely worked, because everyone in the class scored really high, and me and two other people got 900 of 900. Yay!

So now I'm just trying to knock out my last bits of homework for my statistics class, and I have to take the final some time this week. And one big project that I haven't even started on... erk.
